Before picking up this assignment, someone told me “Rajah & Tann have the chattiest lawyers!”. After photographing 200 of them, I must say they’re right.

7 days breeze by when you’re having hearty conversations.

Despite the insanely long working hours, somehow these lawyers found time for passions and hobbies. I don’t know a thing about law but I know people love talking about their interests and what they do outside of work. That was mainly what our conversations were centered around.

Timothy, for example, loves making stop motion films and did one to propose to his then-girlfriend, now fiancée.

Sara, an extremely talented person, works as a model for some big brands outside of her work. Her face can be seen on advertising campaigns around Singapore.

Walter, an ex-serial entrepreneur, loves building startups. One of his startups is currently valued at a few millions.

It’s really fun hearing their life anecdotes; At the same time, having a conversation helped them take their mind off work for a few minutes and let them relax into a safe space where they can express themselves freely.
